SK Seri Kampung Tengah located in the peaceful village with overall 760
students and 63 teachers. It was built on April 24, 1949 through a collaborative
effort by the villagers. It is located in the middle of the Malay village and 8km
from the Kluang town. It is in southern of Malaysia. Now after 74 years, the
school has forged many successes and produced numerous highly
knowledgeable generations. Toward enhancing student achievement and quality
schools, SK Seri Kampung Tengah implementing best practices in management
and leadership as well as pedagogy in teaching and learning and not to forget
curriculum and co-curriculum activities. Our vision is quality education cultivates
educated individuals for a prosperous nation. Quality education not only mainly
focus in the classroom but also surrounding. Not to forget about environmental
action. We equip our students with knowledge,skills and attitude towards
excellent. Our school mission is reserving a quality education system to develop
individual potential in fulfilling the nation's aspirations. Individual potential refers
to excellence in various aspects including physical, emotional, spiritual,
intellectual, and character. Environmental sustainability education is also integral
to this mission and vision towards nurturing individuals who love the environment
and have a sense of responsibility towards it. Majority students from this school
come from low to moderate socio-economic backgrounds. 98% is Malay and first
language is Malay Language. To fulfill the quality education, teachers always
prioritize students development .The potential of students is cultivated from
various aspects. Our school is operating from 7.20 a.m to 1.20 p.m every Sunday
to Thursday.

Despite Malay language being the first language,students are consistently

exposed to English language to equip them with skills necessary to compete in
today's challenging world. The students of SK SK Seri Kampung Tengah can
demonstrate their English proficiency by winning numerous innovation
competitions and presenting projects at International level in English language.
Last year we are recognize as the best school in HIP, Highly Immersive Program.
This school is also the first school in Kluang district that initiate environmental
sustainability projects involving a large number of students. As a result, this
environmental projects and program have successfully gained recognition in
several competitions and our school become a role model to other schools. We
keep sharing what we do with other schools and motivate others to be capable
and developing students' potential comprehensively for excellence.
