 Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new school year! It’s my pleasure to have your child in
my class this year. We are going to have fun in learning all subjects.
Fill your heart with laughter and smile often.
To start off, I would like to introduce about myself. I am Mrs.
Padmapriya, class teacher of your child for Grade 2 B for the
academic year 2022 – 23. I have completed my M. Sc Computer
Science, Diploma in Montessori Training (DMT), Diploma in
Primary Education (DPED). Teaching is my life’s passion and I
have been teaching students of all ages. I have 10 years of teaching
experience and as a teacher it has helped me to guide my students
succeed in the class room and beyond. I love to explore my
student’s interest and guide them with proper materials. I
encourage them to share their ideas and opinions in an open
environment.
I am from Mettupalayam and I am a mother of 13 year old boy who is studying in Grade
9. I am a University Rank Holder. I like to spend most of my leisure times with him and
like to clean and organize my home. We both love to travel and have more fun..
I encourage my students to ask questions, take risks and overcome the fear of making
mistakes as it is part of the learning process. As a teacher I value my students and
appreciate their trust. I believe that building rapport and providing a comfortable but
challenging enough environment for their growth is my main responsibility. Teaching
interests me as every day presents an opportunity to make a difference. I believe that
being interactive, supportive and patient will encourage the children to participate
actively in all activities.
The COVID-19 pandemic has made both teachers and students miss the classroom
environment. It isn’t often that we hear the words “I miss school” from kids, but even
they seem to be tired of this long break. Attending classes, hugging their favorite
teacher, playing outdoors, having lunch with friends, playing in PT periods, playing
during recess are just some of the things that you missed children but don’t worry
children we are going to rock this year. Let’s all pray together for this upcoming year.
I would like to express that one of the most important goals this year is to keep the lines
of communication open between the parent’s and teacher. Positive and productive
communication is paramount to your child’s success! This year I look forward to
collaborate with your son/daughter to ensure a positive and successful academic outcome
for your child. Let’s make this year as an incredible year. Once again I welcome you all to
this new academic year.
