1 1. Founding of LEGO (1932)


1932: Ole Kirk Christiansen
founded the LEGO Group in Billund,
Denmark, initially producing wooden
toys. The name "LEGO" derives
from the Danish phrase "leg godt,"
meaning "play well."

1958: Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, Ole's
