Forth's mission is to electrify transportation by
bringing people together to create solutions that
reduce pollution and barriers to access.
Jeanette Shaw
POLICY DIRECTOR

Jeanette serves as Forth's Policy Director. In this role, she has


advanced transportation electrification by introducing and
passing EV and charging incentive legislation at national and
state levels.

Her experience spans for-profit, government, and nonprofit


sectors, including roles in manufacturing, technology, energy,
transportation, rail, micromobility, and transportation
electrification.

Alexa manages the Towards Equitable Electric Mobility


Community of Practice (TEEM) project. She works with
environmental and equity organizations to advance
equitable electric mobility policies.

Multi-State Strategy
An Overview
● Focus states: Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, North
Carolina, Oregon, Virginia, Washington and others.

● Build rapport with regulators and lawmakers


for transportation electrification education, to
propose innovative legislative solutions and
regulatory support to further transportation
electrification.

● Form alliances like the Clean and Just


Transportation Network (CJTN) in Oregon to
promote equitable transportation electrification.

● Collaborate with legislators on bills for EV rebates,


school bus electrification, M/HD pilot programs,
and funding like clean fuels initiatives.
Multi State & Local Strategy
An Overview
● Facilitate access to federal funding for states,
partnering with equity organizations and local
communities, including technical assistance for the
CFI Program.

● Deliver education on transportation electrification


through mobile showcases, charging programs for
multi-family housing and curbside locations, and
carshare initiatives.

● Support states and cities in establishing clean


transportation funds to finance equitable
transportation electrification programs.
