TRAFFIC ADVISORY
WASHINGTON STREET – ROSWELL MONUMENT

The City of Watertown has contracted with Evergreene Architectural Arts for cleaning
and maintenance of the Roswell P Flower Monument on Washington Street. Work will begin
on Monday June 10, 2024, and continue through June 21, 2024, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm each
day.

Vehicular traffic will not be affected. The crosswalk in front of the monument will be
closed and pedestrians rerouted to the nearest crosswalk northward towards Public Square.

Motorists should exercise extreme caution when encountering work crews and work
zones.

The Department of Public Works would like to thank you for your patience and
cooperation while this work is completed.
