My family is a lot of fun, so I fondly remember several of our meetings.

One of the most recent

was my grandfather's birthday, which fell nicely on a holiday, making it possible for all of us to
gather at his house.

In addition to being his birthday, it was also my little cousin's and his other grandmother's,
which made the celebration even more special.

We went there in the morning, had lunch and in the afternoon the games began. My
grandfather started playing the harmonica and my mother, inspired by the idea, came to our
house to get guitars for me, my sister and my cousin to play with him.

She filmed, sang, screamed and clapped her hands, cheering everyone around, while my
grandfather laughed out loud, making us laugh too. It was really cool, mainly because I saw
several relatives that I don't get to see very often, thanks to the distance and commitments we
all have.

I particularly like these family gatherings, but this was one of the most memorable. What
struck me the most was the time to say goodbye, because my grandfather told my mother that
we had to meet more often, because life is short and moments like this are what matter: full of
laughter and happiness.
