A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR, VICTOR MA

REGIS N. SOTTO TO GRANT FINANCIAL ASSITANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE

HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (PHP 106,500.00) TO FIVE (5)
WOMEN JUDGES OF THE REGIONAL TRIAL COURT, PASIG CITY, FOR THEIR
PARTICIPATION IN THE ASIA PACIFIC REGIONAL CONVENTION OF THE
INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN JUDGES, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Office of the Court Administrator of the Supreme Court issued Circular
No. 08-2024 regarding the Regional Conference of the International Association of Women
Judges and Annual Convention Seminar of the Philippine Women of Judges Association;
WHEREAS, the Philippine Women Judges Association will simultaneously (a) host the
Regional Conference of the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) in the Asia
Pacific and (b) hold its Annual Convention-Seminar on 08-10 May 2024 at the Fili Hotel, Nustar
Resort and Casino, Kawit Island, South Properties, Cebu City;
WHEREAS, five (5) women judges of the Regional Trial Court of Pasig City, sought for
financial assistance from the City Government for their participation in the said event;
WHEREAS, the city government acknowledge the indispensable role of the Judiciary,
and deems it meritorious to hereby grant a financial assistance to them in order to help defray the
cost of their participation in the said event;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD, RESOLVES, AS IT

IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize the Honorable City Mayor, Victor Ma Regis N. Sotto to
grant financial assistance in the amount of One Hundred Six Thousand Five Hundred pesos (Php
106,500.00) to five (5) women judges of Regional Trial Court, Pasig City, for their participation
in the Asia Pacific Regional Convention of the International Association of Women Judges.

RESOLVED, FURTHERMORE, that the budgetary requirement to implement this

Resolution shall be chargeable against any available funds in the City Treasury, subject to
existing COA rules and regulations;

RESOLVED, FINALLY, that the Secretary of the Sangguniang Panlungsod furnish all
concerned agencies/offices copies of this Resolution, as duly adopted/approved by the
Sangguniang Panlungsod.
