Week 3
A Day Off

Today is my day off and everything is different. Normally, from Monday to Saturday, I
have a very busy routine. I wake up early at 5:00 a.m., get dressed quickly, and have
breakfast while checking my WhatsApp chats and sometimes I have calls. Then, I walk
to the bus stop and take public transport to go to work. I work at a textile company from
8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. During the day, I work hard.

However, today is different. I don’t have to wake up early or take the bus. I got up at
9:00 a.m. and decided to prepare a special breakfast. I made pancakes with fresh fruit
and a strong coffee. After breakfast, I put on comfortable clothes and went out to the
balcony. The sun is shining and the air is fresh. I am reading a book that I had been
putting off for weeks from my marketing course. There are no messages or calls. It’s a
day to relax and enjoy.

In summary, my routine changes completely on my day off. I take the opportunity to do

things that I normally can’t do during the week. It’s a necessary break and I enjoy it to
the fullest.
