2. VRE ACTIVE POWER CONTROL

resource.

2.2 Active Power Constraint:

The VRE Farm was able to operate producing Active Power output equal to a value specified by the
System Operator (set-point) provided the Availability of the primary resource was equal or higher than
the prescribed value; or producing the maximum possible Active Power in case the primary resource
Availability was lower than the prescribed set-point.

2.3 Active Power Gradient Constraint (System Frequency Exceeds 61 Hz):

As per PGC, if the system frequency exceeds 61Hz, the Gradient Constraint mode shall takeover to
performe the possible maximum output power to correct the system frequency.

3. ACTIVE POWER STOP/START CONTROL TEST

Solar Farm was equipped with an Active Power Control able to Start and Stop the operations of the plant within
the criteria:
Active Power Stop Control: The Solar Farm was able to received command from the System Operations
instructing its active power to stop the plant generation without disconnecting to the grid.
Active Power Start Control: The Solar Farm was able to received command from the System Operations
instructing its active power to start production base on the available resources.

4. VRE VOLTAGE CONTROL

4.1 Reactive Power Control Test

Under PGC, the Solar Farm shall be capable of supplying Reactive Power output, at its Connection
Point, within the limits of Power Factor 0.95 lagging and 0.95 leading.

prescribed by the System Operator; or
2. Maintained the Voltage at the HV busbar of the Solar Farm, at a set point instructed by the System
Operator; provided the limits of Reactive Power output stated in the Grid Code.
