Important Instructions to the Applicant


1. The information pertaining to the candidates given in the Hall Ticket is as submitted by the candidates through ONLINE application for TS TET-2024. Hence,
candidates alone are responsible for the entries made by her / him.
2. The candidate's eligibility for TS TET-2024 is not verified at the time of ONLINE application. Issue of Hall Ticket and appearance at the test does not automatically
entitle the Applicant's eligibility for TS TET-2024.
3. Candidate shall be present with the Hall Ticket at the examination centre Two hours before the time of the exam. Candidates who fail to produce Hall Ticket will
not be allowed to appear for the examination.
4. Candidate will be permitted into the Examination Hall from 7:30 AM for Morning Session and 12:30 PM for Afternoon Session for capturing Biometric Information
(Photo and Thumb impression). Candidates are advised not to apply any external material like Mehandi, Ink etc, on Hands.
5. Candidate will NOT be permitted into the Examination Hall after the gate is closed i.e.,8:45 AM for Morning Session and 1:45 PM for Afternoon Session.
Candidates will NOT be allowed to leave the examination hall until the test is completed i.e., 11:30 PM for Morning Session or 04:30 PM for Afternoon Session.
6. Candidates shall carry into the Examination hall (i) Black/Blue Ball Point Pen (ii) Hall Ticket and (iii) Valid Original photo identification card (Aadhaar Card/Driving
License/Passport/PAN Card/Voter ID).
7. The use of calculating devices including logarithm tables, calculator, pager, cell phone (even in switch off mode), smart watches, or any other electronic devices or
carrying of loose sheets of paper to examination hall are not allowed.
8. Blank (White) papers will be provided for rough work in the examination hall. Candidates have to hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator concerned after
the end of the examination.
9. Candidate shall listen to the instructions announced by the Invigilator carefully. After login, candidate shall read the instructions carefully especially the list of
symbols related to answering the online examination. No clarifications or doubts related to the questions of the examination paper will be entertained during the
examination.
10. In case candidate detects any hardware or software problems with the computer provided, she / he may raise hand and talk to the invigilator. The problem will be
rectified immediately. Incase the problem is not rectified within a reasonable time; the computer will be changed for that candidate. Countdown timer stops
during the change, so candidate will not lose any time during the process of changing the computer.
11. Adoption of any kind of unfair means and any act of impersonation during the time of test will render the candidate liable for invalidation of his / her
examination. Further he/she will forfeit the claim of appearing for the test and a case of malpractice will be booked against the candidate under the Public
Examination prevention of malpractices and unfair means act 25 / 97.
12. Candidate is advised to visit the Examination Centre well in advance to familiarize with the location of the Examination Centre.

13. Hall Ticket may be preserved for future usage as TS TET-2024 scores are valid for lifetime.
14. Visually Impaired candidates (40% and above disability) and Orthopedically Handicapped (40% and above disability) are allowed the assistance of a scribe.
15. In case of any discrepancy between the English and language I versions of the questions or incase of minor errors in translation, English version shall be
considered as final.
16. Candidates shall follow the website for any updates after the examination including release of key and results.
17. Examination centers do not have security facility for safekeeping of candidate's valuable devices or personal belongings. The examination Center does not bear
any responsibility for loss of valuable devices or personal belongings. Hence, candidates are advised not to carry any valuable devices / things to the examination
centre.
