Anti-visual Ghillie suits are very lightweight and robust enough

for harsh field conditions. They will merge the soldier visually
with the surrounding terrains. These are very lightweight and
have excellent ventilation and comfort for the soldier in the
field. Additionally, these ghillie suits are bug-proof and restrict
insect penetration.

THERMAL SHIELDING EFFECTIVENESS OF THE GHILLIE SUITS:
Modern ghillie suits protect the troops in visual (400nm-
700nm), NIR (700nm–1200nm), and Thermal Infrared (3μm -
5μm) and (8μm – 12μm) wavebands of the electromagnetic
spectrum by reducing the contrast between the background
and the human body. These are water and fire-retardant and
available for all terrains.

Field Testing Methodology:
 Form Two Team for the Trial.
 Some members of Team 1 will bear the Ghillie Suit.
 Team 2 Will have reconnaissance types of equipment
to identify the soldiers of the enemy team.
 Team 1 Will hide with the help of the
background/merge themselves with the background.
 Now, Team 2 will conduct a search operation.
 The search team definitely will not search the team 1
member.
