T he Copperhead from Smith Services is a new
generation of drillable Bridge Plug that combines
unsurpassed holding capability with the ability to be
milled-up in under 30 minutes.

The Copperhead Bridge Plug utilizes a combination of

advanced materials that enable it to stay locked
downhole during extreme temperature and pressure
conditions for an extended period of time without
degrading. The Copperhead will withstand pressure
up to 10,000 psi at 350°F from above and below.

The proprietary slip design ensures

that it will not rotate during
drill-up to deliver a short
drill-out time in every
application.

Features of the Copperhead Bridge Plug:

● Superior anchoring system eliminates plug spinning and prevents
the mandrel from dropping out prematurely.

● Unique activation system yields 3 to 5 times higher loading in the

sealing element compared to conventional bridge plugs.

● Enhanced element sealing system ensures rubber containment

under extreme pressure and temperature conditions.

● Short, compact design minimizes drill-out time.

● Average drill-out time is 20 minutes.

● Cuttings are small, consistent and easily transportable at

conventional flow rates.
