Use the case study to answer the following questions. (25 marks)
Mr. Mwakinyuke 77-year-old retired engineer. He is 168cm tall and hospitalized weighs 171 pounds
(162 pounds IBW). He is sedentary due to suffering with stroke, which left him left-sided paralysis, and
he is having dysphagia. After trying Enteral Nutrition support he was not showing any improvement and
the food eliminated as it ingested which caused him unable to meet his nutritional needs via oral intake at
this time. But after several days of treatments dietician tried oral sips and the respond was positive. After
one month of treatments he was conscious and full awake with GCS of 15/15.
a. What is hospitalized body weight and Ideal body weight of Mr. Mwakinyuke. (2 marks)
