networking reset button.
BOOTP mode is the default networking state of the IV2 Series vision sensor. By default, the IV2 does not
have an IP Address and is waiting for the PC to assign it an IP Address. By forcing the sensor into BOOTP
mode, the IV2 will get rid of its IP Address. This is helpful if there is an IP Address assigned to the sensor
that is not compatible with the networking settings of the PC.

When using the IV2 model vision sensors, the networking reset button can be found in the below location
on the amplifier:

Initializing the network settings

Insert a long and thin pin (1 to 2 mm in diameter) into the screw hole and press the IP reset
switch for about 3 seconds with the power on.

The STATUS indicator light will blink twice (orange) and then turn off. The network setting is
initialized.

*If connection still cannot be established after performing the above steps, there is likely a security program on the PC preventing
connection. Please contact your IT department to allow IV2-Navigator software through this security software.
*If connection is not possible with any of the above steps, please try a different PC.
