THE MURDEROUS THINKING

CHARACTERS:

LILY: The girl who committed suicide, sensitive and kind. (LAURA)
CARL: The Bully, psychotic and cruel (ÁLVARO)
MINA: Lily´s best friend, generous and funny (AMINA)
JHON: Lily´s brother, he also bullies her and he is jealous (AXEL)

SETTING:

A series of places inside a neighborhood from a park to a cemetery

TIME:

Different hours in a day. Nowadays

SCENE 1:

(we are at Lily´s thoughts while she is reading her suicide letter)

LILY: I know it may sound crazy but no matter how much I have always pretended, my life
was never perfect and it always had ups and downs that at the end of the day ended up
passing but lately I felt as if these days could not go back to what they were before and that
led to my decision and I know it hurts but it would be very difficult for me to say that it is
someone's fault because I know that it really is not and that in reality it is my fault and that
the way in which I have handled my problems was not the best You, my family, who I hope
read this, have always supported me but that support was never really going to be enough to
protect me from pain. (she says her last goodbye with sadness in her voice)

(the landscape changes and now we are at Lily's funeral)

MINA: I am Sorry Lily (she says while she approaches her and puts some flowers in her
hands) (then she leaves)

(the title of the short appears when it fades down we still are at the same location)

JHON: I am sorry Lily i didn't want this to happen ( he says with regret in his voice)
CARL: (while approaching to the dead body you can hear his thoughts) This wasn't what i
wanted but it was what you knew that was going to happen, and what ended up happening, it
shouldn't have happened, but when you were given the choice, you choose the dumbest
option (you can start hearing Lily´s accusations at Carl all of them made up by his mind)

LILY'S ACCUSATIONS: You know that you are the cause, show me what are you talking about
so much coward, You don't dare to do anything but go against the most defenseless, After all,
you say that you have humanity, when actually, you don't.

SCENE 2:
(we are now going through some happy memories of Lily)
LILY´S MEMORIES: (we see her happy doing a cartwheel)

LILY´S MEMORIES: ( we see her running around smiling) ( and then the scene changes and
she is talking with Mina)

LILY: What happened in math was hilarious. ( they are conversing while at a park)

MINA: Yes(they both start laughing)

LILY´S MEMORIES: (they are in a swing having fun)

MINA: (they are conversing in a park) Josh is beautiful

LILY: Yes I know he should be a model.

MINA: Yes (they both start laughing)

LILY´S MEMORIES: (We see more images of her having fun with Mina)

SCENE 3:
(we can see John and Mina discussing something)

MINA: It was Carl ( she keeps repeating from over John) I know what he did

John: (He tries to dissuade her) (Free play for the actor)
SCENE 4:
(we can see Carl waking up from a dream )
Carl: ( He wakes up to find Lily because he doesn't want her alive, we discover that all that
happened was a dream) ( When he sees her he pushes her off killing her) (Lily tries to say her
last words but she couldn´t be heard)
