ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS DURATION OF STUDY
Full time 4 – 8 semesters | Part time 6 – 12 semesters
1. A Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent from
any IPT approved by the Senate; OR PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
2. A Master’s degree or its equivalent in any field other than Computer
Science/Information Technology may be accepted provided that the applicant has a Study areas offered under the Masters of Science (Computer Science) by Research
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Information Technology and has programme are:
taken all prerequisite modules in computing; OR (i) Nature-inspired Computational Intelligence
3. Candidates who are registered as Master candidates at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (ii) Evolutionary Robotics, Behavior-Based Robotics
and have obtained approval to upgrade by the Faculty’s Postgraduate Committee and (iii) Artificial Neural Networks
approved by the Senate; AND (iv) Evolving Game AI
4. Fulfill other requirements as set by the Senate. (v) Multi-Objective Optimization and Metaheuristics
5. Degrees awarded by local/private institutions of higher learning, including those (vi) Agent Technology
awarded under any collaborative/franchising schemes with local or foreign partners (vii) Semantic Technology
must be accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). (viii) Natural Language Processing
(ix) Image Processing
(x) Sentiment Analysis
