Introduction
The original copy of the Hyborian Campaign diary – of which this volume is part – was given by Tony Bath
to his friend, Rudi Geudens, my late father. They were introduced by Minifigs founder Neville Dickinson,
another wargames monument, in the mid 1970’s. On Monday nights the three of them played wargames
together at Tony’s house, featuring the latter’s 40mm "flats" on the very wargames table the by now
legendary "Hyborian Campaign" was fought over.

My father has had many inquiries about the contents of Tony Bath's original Hyborian documents and had
planned to someday make them available online for all to enjoy. Unfortunately, he never came round to
it. Since people are now asking me about them, I thought it appropriate to accomplish my father’s
intentions as a gift to the wargames community that was so important to him throughout his life.

The cover and the pages that you are about to read are all scanned from the original manuscripts by Tony
Bath. Some adjustments to the brightness and contrast were needed to improve readability.

The contents of these documents remain the intellectual property of Tony Bath and his heirs. The
documents were never intended to be monetized and their contents can by no means be used for profit
by anyone unless Tony Bath's heirs decide otherwise.

So, here's to the both of you, Tony and Rudi. You both were an inspiration to many a wargamer in the
past, present, and future!
