OUR DAILY ROUTINES

KELLY: Hello partners, good evening, how are you?

RUTH: Hello, good evening Kelly, I’m fine and you?

KELLY: I’m fine too, but busy because I have a lot of work. And you Williams?

WILLIAMS: Hi ladies, I'm studying and working.

RUTH: What do you do Kelly?

KELLY: I work in Maquisistema, I'm a commercial executive, and you?

RUTH: I am not working at the moment, but I'm helping with documentation and reports for
the district municipality of Mariano Melgar. And you Williams?

WILLIAMS: I work in a real estate agency and I'm studying at the university, what are you
doing now?

RUTH: Now I'm in English class.

KELLY: I’m in English class too, with my daughter, and you Williams?

WILLIAMS: I am reviewing my pending assignments, what days do you have English class?

KELLY: I have English class on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7.00 pm, and you?

RUTH: I have English classes on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday too. What music do you
like?

WILLIAMS: My favorite song is "la diabla".

RUTH: I like to listen to cold play.

KELLY: I like old reggaeton. What do you do on weekdays?

RUTH: I usually get up at 5:30, wash my face, make breakfast at 6: 00, I get my children
ready to go to school, I sometime go to the shopping, then; I make lunch to eat with my
children, they like “tallarines rojos”, I usually read a novels or occasionally watch horror
movies after lunch ; I daily take my oldest son to therapy then I continue with my homework,
and in the evenings I have classes on weekdays; on Saturdays I have class in the morning
and afternoon, and on Sundays I am with my family. and you?

WILLIAMS: I get up at 5.00 a.m. and brush my teeth and take a shower, then I prepare
breakfast, I usually make fruit juice or make coffee. At 7.00 a.m. I leave for work. I arrive at
the workplace clean and I start my day teaching in a school until 3.00 pm, which is my
departure time. Then I go to my college classes. What about you Kelly?

KELLY: I always get up at 5.30 am, I take a shower and brush my teeth, I cook lunch with
my family at 6.45 am, I put on makeup and get ready for work at 7.50 am, I drive a car to
work at 9.30 am. My office is very big, there is a desk, there are small windows, there is a
chair, there are some documents on the desk. I have lunch with my colleagues in the
restaurant at 2.00 pm, I always have classes in the institute Certus at 6.00 pm, I have dinner
with my family in my house at 9.00 pm. I go to bed at 10.30 pm.

RUTH: How do you go to work?

KELLY: I go to my work in my car, and you Willliams?

WILLIAMS: I walk to work. How do you go to classes, Ruth?

RUTH: I go to my classes by bus too. Where do you work?

WILLIAMS: I work at Romeo Luna Victoria School in the Cerro Colorado district. Where do
you work Kelly?

KELLY: I work at 503 Ejército Avenue. Around the corner in the Real Plaza. Where do you
live, Ruth?

RUTH: I live in the miguel grau Avenue, on street los cedros at 7.

KELLY: Can you play sports on weekends?

WILLIAMS: Yes, I can. I can play soccer. And you?

KELLY: I can swim, but can't sing.

RUTH: I can play soccer, but can’t play volleyball.

WILLIAMS: why?
RUTH: Because, I don’t like it.

KELLY: You should choose another sport.

WILLIAMS: You should practice another sport.

KELLY: Could we have coffee on Saturday at 6.00 pm?

RUTH: Yes, I can. So, great.

WILLIAMS: Yes, I can too.
