B. Name/Location of the Installation: Nuestra Señora Del Pilar Pawnshop is strategically

located at Barangay IV-Poblacion, Alaminos, Laguna

C. Purpose of the Inspection:

The purpose of the inspection is to determine and examine the degree of

compliance of the bank’s security policies and procedures in accordance with the mission
and function of this company. Likewise to check/evaluate the present security situation of
establishments to preempt/negate any enemy attack.

Although there is no record of intrusion or untoward incident in the past, still

criminals/lawless elements remain a major threat to the installation. With the recent
activities within the region, activity such as robbery hold-up against the said facility cannot
be discounted.
This security inspection aims to familiarize the concept of physical security as it is
applied in counter- intelligence and to present the basic measures in providing adequate
security to the said establishment.
 D. Coverage of the Inspection:
The security inspection covers the entire physical security measures of the said
installation such as physical, human, structural and energy barriers and other facilities.
E. Date of Inspection: 8:55 AM-9:05 AM of November 19, 2020

II. RESULT OF INSPECTION

A. List of Facilities Inspected:

Perimeter Barriers: The financial establishment (Nuestra Señora Del Pilar Pawnshop)
has no good perimeter fence but inside the teller/cashier has blocked with metal grills.

Human Barriers-No security guard securing the financial establishment during day time
and night time.

Energy Barriers-There is emergency light installed.

Presence of CCTV: There is presence of CCTV installed in the establishment.

Presence of Alarm System: Nuestra Señora Del Pilar Pawnshop has no alarm system.

Animal Barriers: It has no animal barrier.

Other Facilities. There is one (1) fire extinguisher in good place inside the counter to be
used in case of fire. There are lights within the whole establishment.
B. Remarks in the effectiveness and extent of Compliance with Establishment Rules
and Procedure:
Based on the actual findings of the inspection team, the installation did not fully
satisfy the requirements in terms of physical barrier. Furthermore, the inspection team
made some recommendations. (See recommendations)
.

C. Statement of action taken on the Recommendations made in the previous

inspection/survey conducted:

The Manager did inform the owner with recommendation of the inspection team.
III. RECOMMENDATIONS:

1. Hiring security guard

2. Installation of Alarm System
3. Install perimeter fence
