In the reference 1st cited, the government has permitted to take up
VAAs (Gr-II) to AEOs (Gr-II) promotions in the department.
In continuation to the above, this office, vide 2nd reference, has issued
subsequent instructions to all the DAOs in the state to follow the applicable
rule positions in preparation of seniority lists, estimation of vacancies,
determination of eligibility of feeder category employees, etc., before taking
up the said promotions.
Accordingly, all the DAOs (appointing authorities) are in the process of
preparing and finalizing seniority lists for the VAAs (Gr-II) in the state.
However, the promotions have not been taken up since the Model Code of
Conduct was in vogue.
In this connection, it is hereby instructed that the entire process of
promotions to the VAAs (Gr-II) as AEOs (Gr-II) in the department shall be
taken up based on further instructions from this office after the new
government assumes office.
