· Purpose of Industrial Visit

with the professionals.

· Student Review about the Industrial visit

As a student at Institute of Technology and Management, I recently had the opportunity to
participate in an industrial visit to Doordarshan Kendra in Gorakhpur. The experience was both
enlightening and enriching, providing a real-world glimpse into the world of broadcasting and
media.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and given an overview of the history and operations of
Doordarshan Kendra. The staff there were knowledgeable, and willing to share their expertise
with us.The visit comprised a comprehensive tour of the entire facility, where we witnessed the
different departments such as production, editing, newsrooms, and broadcasting studios. It was
fascinating to observe the processes involved in bringing news, entertainment, and information to
the public. We got to see the technical aspects involved behind the working of
Earthstations,CCU,VTR,Studio etc.One of the highlights of the visit was the interactive session
with the professionals working at Doordarshan. We had the chance to ask questions, understand
the challenges they face, and learn about the innovative techniques used in the industry. It helped
us understand the significance of teamwork, adaptability, and continuous learning in the media
industry. It allowed us, as students, to connect our theoretical learning with practical applications
in the real world.

At the end I would like to say that, the industrial visit to Doordarshan Kendra, Gorakhpur was an
exceptional learning opportunity. I would like to thank our HOD ma'am and other faculty
members for providing us such a great opportunity.
