bridge is seated squarely on the work piece.
 Never exceed the maximum working pressure specified for the equipment

 Ensure equipment is observed and never left while in operation.
 If area is to be left release the pressure and ensure that the returns to tank
valve on the pump unit if fully open.
 Ensure hoses are never bent.
 Don’t use kinked hoses.
 Never stand in line with the bolt axis whilst tensioning is in progress.
 Keep all other personals away from the area and barricade the area.

 Never allow untrained operatives to operate the machine.
 If other are assisting then clear communications must be established.
 While pressuring – Hands are to be kept clear and should the machine need
reseating than depressurize and adjust.

 Don’t lift the load/material beyond the individual capacity and use buddy
system where required.
 Always follow the manual handling procedure.
 Use mechanical aid where possible for shifting, lifting of material.
 Secure the valve on hydraulic trolley after unbolting and put two wooden blocks
and secure with the rope before move the valve from the area.
