Installing the OTS-1M10 into your 2010+ Mustang

The OTS-1M10 One-Touch Turn Signal Module adds a convenient One-Touch feature to your turn signals. When changing
lanes or getting on/off freeway ramps, you just "touch" and release the signal lever. The signal will flash 6 times, then quit.

MAKING CONNECTIONS
The module comes complete
with all the necessary wiring and
connections to install into your
car. If you have never used
quick connectors, read the
section on these devices to
familiarize yourself with how they
work, and how to install them.
1) Slide the existing harness wire
into the Quick-Splice Connector
from the side.
2) Insert the module wire into the
open end of the Quick-Splice
Connector. Note that the
insulation is not stripped.
3) Using a pair of pliers, carefully
squeeze the metal tang until it is
flush with the top of the
connector. Make sure the tab is
flush with the body of the
connector, or it may not make a
good connection.
4) Fold the top over the connector
and squeeze it closed to insulate
the tang.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) The connections are made on
wires going to/from the Smart
Junction Box (SJB) which is
located behind the passenger
kick panel. During the installation
procedure, make sure the ignition
is OFF and the key is NOT IN
THE IGNITION. Make sure you
have plenty of light so you can
correctly identify the wire colors.
NOTE: If you can't find the
correct wire colors, DO NOT
GUESS! Ask someone to help
you identify them, or contact us
at tech support. Incorrect hook-
up can cause damage to your
car!
2) Remove the passenger door sill
panel. Remove the passenger
kick panel to expose the SJB.
Move the protective flaps out of the way.

3) Locate and unplug connector C2280B (upper left side in picture). Unwrap the tape to expose the harness wires. TIP:
Disconnect C2280A and unhook the harness to allow for more slack to work.
Using the diagram above, make the connections as follows:
A) Cut the VIOLET/WHITE harness wire about 2” from the connector and strip 1/2" of insulation from each end. Using a
wire nut, connect the RED module wire to the VIOLET/WHITE wire coming out of the harness.
B) Connect the BROWN module wire to the VIOLET/WHITE wire that goes to the connector.
C) Cut the GRAY/YELLOW harness wire about 2” from the connector and strip 1/2" of insulation from each end. Using a
wire nut, connect the PINK module wire to the GRAY/YELLOW wire coming out of the harness.
D) Connect the VIOLET module wire to the GRAY/YELLOW wire that goes to the connector.
Plug the connector back in and make sure it is fully seated.

4) Locate connector C2280D (bottom, middle in the first picture). Unwrap the tape to expose the harness wires. Using the
diagram below, make the connection as follows:
E) Using a quick-splice,
connect the YELLOW
module wire to the
YELLOW-GRAY harness
wire.
F) Using a quick-splice,
connect the GREEN module
wire to the BLACK harness
wire (may be
BLACK/WHITE).
Plug the connector back in and
make sure it is fully seated.

OPERATION
The module controls both the left
and right turn signals. To operate
either signal in One-Touch mode, quickly move and release the lever in the direction you wish to turn. Once started, the signal
will flash 6 times then quit. To control the signal in manual mode, move the lever to the first or second detent position as
normal.

PROGRAMMING
The timing can be changed to a range of about 2 to 8 flashes by following the procedure below.
1) Start the car and put it in Park (Neutral for manual transmission cars).
2) One Touch the RIGHT TURN signal 5 times within 3 seconds. After 2 seconds the signal will flash once.
3) Hold the RIGHT TURN signal on for the number of flashes desired. Make sure you include
the full last flash.
4) Release the signal lever. After 2 seconds, the signal will flash the new number.
Programming is complete.
