The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid and was used as
the tomb of the pharaoh Khufu, located on a rocky plateau on the west bank
of the Nile River in northern Egypt, Built in the early 26th century BC, for 27
years, this pyramid is one of the wonders of the world and the oldest of the
Seven Wonders of the ancient world.
Next is the second destination, the Capital City of Egypt, Cairo
2. The Capital City of Egypt, Cairo
Cairo is the capital and largest city of Egypt. The city’s metropolitan area is
the largest in the Middle East and the 6th largest city in the world, with a
population of 21 million. Situated along the Nile River in northern Egypt,
modern Cairo was founded in AD 969. Cairo has long been a center of
political and cultural life, and has been nicknamed “the city of a thousand
towers” because of its Islamic architectur.
