I am writing to express my interest in applying for the position of FCE part-time course as was
recently made available in…. university.

I decided to take English for the FCE course because I believe this course would prepare me
well for Cambridge exams next year.

I am 22 years old and I have just finished my subject of Tourism English at Oxford two month
ago. When I was there, I won first prize in a speaking contest, namely “Brainfighters”. Therefore,
I think that is my key strength to be successfully admitted for this course. I wish to study in your
university because you has a friendly and international learning environment so It can boost my
confidence as well as bringing me a deep insight into English.
