Retd Professor University of Calcutta
Specialization : Experimental, Developmental Disability - Autism
She completed her PhD at the age of 28 years from University of Calcutta and after 30 years of
service she retired from University and again teaching in IIIT as visiting Professor. She is the
director of Pradip Centre for Autism Management, a non Govt. Organization for assessment
and rehabilitation of persons with Autism. She has published more than 50 papers in reputed
journals and two books and several book chapters. She completed six major
research projects and has been serving as an expert member on autism in Rehabilitation Council
of Govt. of India.
