THE BEGGINNIG OF A NEW ERA FOR THE MUSIC WORLD

Formerly, the society used to listen to music through records they bought;
notwithstanding, at the present time, there has been a decline in the sales of the music
industry because of new technologies and the emergence of music platforms. There
are some reasons which are thought to have motivated that fact.

First of all, it is undoubtedly believed that music platforms such as Spotify have
attracted the public who bought the cassettes in stores. Consequently, it is apparent
that people prefer to listen to music on an online format, rather than buying a disk
which is probably more expensive. Seemingly, the internet is said to have changed the
music more than any other business, therefore, it incites several problems to the music
industry.

Moreover, another key issue to remember is the fact that people usually copy and
share music files in their networks. Hence, if the society did not do that type of piracy,
the music industry would have had less damages. Not until the government reaches a
method not to permit these irresponsible actions will people begin to support the
industry of the music.

Taking everything into account, the development of the streaming apps is the factor
which has contributed the most to the degeneration of sales in the music industry.
Apart from that, only after searching different ways to reinvent the music industry will
producers be able to stop this decrease in their sales.
