Di Indonesia berkembang berbagai tarekat yang dikenalkan oleh para ulama. Tarekat
adalah jalan menuju Tuhan melalui berbagai amaliyah. Dalam perkembanganya, tarekat sudah
menjadi sebuah lembaga yang terstruktur, salah satunya adalah tarekat Naqsyabandiyah. Tarekat
Naqsyabandiyah terbagi menjadi beberapa istilah yang dikaitkan dengan tokoh mursyid seperti
Naqsyabandiyah Mazhariyah, Naqsyabandiyah Mujaddidiyah, dan Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah.
Dari tiga tersebut, tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah memiliki perkembangan yang pesat ke
berbagai daerah di Indonesia, seperti di Banyumas. Dalam penelitian ini akan membahas tentang
perkembangan Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah pada masa KH. Abdul Malik di Banyumas
(1912-2016)
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menkaji tentang perkembangan tarekat Naqsyabandiyah
Khalidiyah pada masa KH. Abdul Malik dan penerusnya, mulai tahun 1912 hingga tahun 2016.
Selain itu, untuk menjawab permasalahan yang belum dijelaskan pada penelitian sebelumnya
terkait sedikitnya masyarakat Kedung Paruk yang berbaiat dengan. Metode yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap seperti penentuan
topic atau kajian, pencarian sumber, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan histiografi1
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: perkembangan tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah di
Kedung Paruk setelah wafatnya Kyai Muhammad Ilyas diteruskan oleh putranya, Kyai Abdul
Malik. Kyai Abdul Malik dibaiat langsung oleh ayahnya sebagai mursyid tarekat, beliau
mendirikan sebuah masjid yang dijadikan sebagai sentral pengajian, dan perkembangan tarekat.
Dikarenakan banyak santri yang ingin belajar kepada Kyai Abdul Mali, maka beliau membangun
sebuah pesantren yang dikenal dengan ponpes Kedung Paruk. Pondok ini fokus pada pengajaran
ilmu keislaman dan tarekat.
Banyak masyarakat yang berbaiat tarekat dengan Kyai Abdul Malik, mereka bertarekat
dikarenakan keinginan sendiri. Kyai Abdul Malik membimbing langsung setiap amaliyah dan
rutinan tarekat seperti sulukan, istighotsah, dzikir, sholawat, dan lain-lain. Murid tarekat beliau
datang dari berbagai daerah di Banyumas dan sekitarnya. Kyai Abdul Malik menjadi tokoh yang
disegani, dan karismatik. Banyak para ulama, serta tokoh pemerintah yang sowan ke ndalem
beliau.
Kyai Abdul Malik wafat pada tahun 1980 dan dimakamkan di area ponpes Kedung
Paruk. Sebelum wafat, beliau sudah menyiapkan pengganti dalam meneruskan pondok dan
perjuangan tarekat. Amanah tersebut diberikan kepada cucunya, KH. Abdul Qodir, Kyai Qodir
panggilan akrabnya adalah seorang kyai yang sudah belajar di berbagai pesantren. Beliau dibaiat
langsung oleh Kyai Abdul Malik sebagai mursyid tarekat. Perjuangan setelah Kyai Qodir

diteruskan oleh adik-adiknya seperti Kyai Said, dan Kyai Muhammad, hingga tahun 2016.
Setelah periode Kyai Muhammad tahun 2004 sampai 2016, kemursyidan tarekat
Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah dipegang oleh Habib Lutfi, murid kesayangan dari Kyai Abdul
Malik.

In Indonesia, various tariqahs were introduced by the ulama. Tarekat is the path to God
through various practices. In its development, tarekat has become a structured institution, one of
which is the Naqsyabandiyah tarekat.structured institution, one of which is the Naqsyabandiyah
order. TariqahNaqsyabandiyah Tarekat is divided into several terms associated with the figure of
the murshid, such as Naqsyabandiyah.mursyid such as Naqsyabandiyah Mazhariyah,
Naqsyabandiyah Mujaddidiyah, and Naqsyabandiyah Khalid.Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah. Of
these three, the Naqsyabandiyah tarekatKhalidiyah has a rapid development to various regions in
Indonesia,such as in Banyumas. This research will discuss the development ofTarekat
Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah during the period of KH Abdul Malik in Banyumas(1912-2016)
The purpose of this research is to study the development of the Naqsyabandiyah
Khalidiyah order during the period of KH Abdul Malik and his successors, from 1912 to 2016. In
addition, to answer problems that have not been explained in previous studies related to the small
number of people in Kedung Paruk who pledged allegiance. The method used in this research is
the historical method which consists of several stages such as determining the topic or study,
finding sources, criticising sources, interpretation, and histiography.
From this background, several research formulations will be discussed, namely (1) How
is the development of the Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah order in Indonesia. (2) How was the
development of the Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah order in Banyumas from 1864 to 1912. (3) How
is the development of Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah tarekat in Banyumas Regency. The method
used in this research is the historical method which consists of several stages such as determining
the topic or study, finding sources, criticising sources, interpretation, and histiography.
The results of this research are: the development of Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah tarekat
in Kedung Paruk after the death of Kyai Muhammad Ilyas was continued by his son, Kyai Abdul
Malik. Kyai Abdul Malik was directly blessed by his father as the murshid of the order, he built a
mosque which served as the centre of recitation, and the development of the order. Due to the
large number of students who wanted to study with Kyai Abdul Mali, he built an Islamic
boarding school known as Ponpes Kedung Paruk. This pesantren focuses on teaching Islamic
science and tarekat.
Many people who took tariqah allegiance with Kyai Abdul Malik, they took tariqah
because of their own desires. Kyai Abdul Malik directly guides every amaliyah and routine of
the tariqah such as sulukan, istighotsah, dhikr, sholawat, and others. His disciples came from
various regions in Banyumas and its surroundings. Kyai Abdul Malik became a respected and
charismatic figure. Many scholars, as well as government figures, visited his residence.
Kyai Abdul Malik died in 1980 and was buried in the Kedung Paruk ponpes area.
Before his death, he had already prepared a successor in continuing the Pondok and the struggle
of the Tariqah. The mandate was given to his grandson, KH Abdul Qodir, Kyai Qodir, his
nickname is a kyai who has studied in various pesantren. He was directly blessed by Kyai Abdul
Malik as the murshid of the Tariqah. The struggle after Kyai Qodir was continued by his younger
siblings such as Kyai Said, and Kyai Muhammad, until 2016. After the period of Kyai
Muhammad from 2004 to 2016, the leadership of the Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah tarekat was
held by Habib Lutfi, a favourite student of Kyai Abdul Malik.
