your own opinion/suggestions/measures/viewpoints/its impact on people/your
learning experience
 No marks will be awarded for a casual approach of completing the project.

Project Work
All the students have been assigned companies for their project. The lists of the same
along with the guidelines for completing the project are attached herewith. The
students are required to complete steps 1 to 4 of the Project Work. The students are
expected to complete at least 14 – 15 pages in their files.
How to Prepare a Specific Accounts Project Report?
1. Firstly, students need to choose whether they want to prepare a cash flow
analysis report, ratio analysis report, or segment report.
2. Secondly, students should gather all the financial statements like balance
sheet, P&L statement, inventory list, product list, and all other necessary
information required for analysis.
3. Thirdly, look for the specific question that needs to be answered to process
the tabulation of data. For e.g. which is the most profitable product in the
product mix? Or should they get more loans for expansion? Or how can they
save their cost?
4. Fourthly start analyzing all the data with specific tools like ratios or making
charts and tables to help you reach some conclusion.
5. Fifthly prepare Comparative Statements and Common Size Statement
6. Lastly, start placing all the product documents and sheets neatly in the format
prescribed by CBSE

4. Any other organisation approved by the teacher.
Students are required to observe the application of the general Principles of
management advocated by Fayol.
III. Project Three: Stock Exchange
The students are expected to:
a) Develop a brief report on History of Stock Exchanges in India. (your country)
b) Prepare a list of at least 25 companies listed on a Stock Exchange.

c) To make an imaginary portfolio totalling a sum of Rs. 50,000 equally in any of the
5 companies of their choice listed above over a period of twenty working days.
The students may be required to report the prices of the stocks on daily basis an and
present it diagrammatically on the graphpaper.
