SUBMERSIBLE MIXER
WWW.JEFFCONGROUP.COM
JEFFCON ENGINEERING SDN. BHD.
Applications
§ HEXA Submersible Mixer can be divided into two types, which are:
(a) Mixing Type Mixer
(b) Slow-Speed Type Mixer
§ Mixing Type Mixers are suitable for stirring liquids containing suspended solids in sewage treatment
plants and industrial processes.
§ Slow-Speed Type Mixers are suitable for use in aeration tanks of industrial and urban sewage treatment
plants. It produces a strong turbulent flow with low tangential flow, which can be used for circulation and
nitrification, and to create water flow during detritus and phosphorus removal.
Main Features
§ Compact structure, simple operation and maintenance, easy installation, long life span.
§ The impeller has the best hydraulic design structure and high work efficiency. The backward sweeping
blade has self-cleaning function, which can prevent wraps and blocking of debris.
§ Mixing with the aeration system can greatly reduce energy consumption, significantly increase
oxygenation, and prevent sedimentation.
§ Motor Winding Insulation Class F, Protection Class IP68, high quality bearings and moto anti-
condensation device are used to ensure safe motor work.
Application Conditions
§ pH 5 -9
§ Water Temperature ≤ 40°C
3
§ Water Density ≤ 1,150 kg/m
§ Water Depth ≤ 20m for long term operation

Introduction
The sWKͲϭϬϬ Series Ultrasonic level sensor is a remote type of ultrasonic level meter which is ultrasonic sensor able
to extend up to 1000 meters away. It easy to maintain due to self-cleaning effect by the membrane pulsing.
The sensor has wide option of material such as ABS, PTFE or PVC. With a patented smart echo processing technology,
it can effectively and reliably deal with echo.
Ultrasonic level sensor is widely used to measure level and flow for different kinds of liquid in various industrial such
as water, waste water and tank application.
Page1|3
VPOC-100 Series
Ultrasonic Level and Open Channel Flowmeter
Working Principle
Ultrasonic level meter works according to the transit time method. The sensor is mounted on the top of the flume/weir,
and ultrasonic pulse is transmitted by the sensor to the surface of the liquid being monitored. Ultrasonic pulse is
reflected back and received by the sensor. The meter measures the time (t) between pulse transmission and reception.
The meter uses the time (t) and the velocity of sound (c) to calculate the distance (d) between the bottom of sensor
and the monitored liquid surface.
d = c •t/2
The meter installation height (H) is set in parameters setting. Therefore, it can calculate the liquid level as follows:
h=H–d
Since speed of sound through air is affected by changes in temperature, the O.C.M. has integrated a temperature
sensor to improve accuracy.
To determined flume/weir flow rate, there is a fixed functional relationship between the instantaneous flow rate and
liquid level.
The formula;
Q = X * (h)
Q = instantaneous flow
h = liquid level in flumes. the meter can calculate the flow rate though determined flumes and the
level value.
It is very important to understand the working principle for further installation and operation.

Forms of Running
The main series of test were conducted on Form B units and comparative tests were carried
out on Form A units.
Resultant performance differences occur mainly on the outlet side of the fan, as correct
practice should result in the presence of the duct inlet cone on the fan inlet.
