Schedule for online sessions: S1, 2024

GGH1501 – Know Your World

Online sessions in various formats will be conducted, and although attendance is not compulsory, it s
highly advisable to attend. The formats in which these sessions will be conducted, are the following:

• Orientation on the use of the module site, Moodle functionalities, Mapping software
• Lectures on the study topics/materials
• Guidance on assignments and the exam
• Availability for consultation

The sessions will be recorded and made available in a folder on One Drive together with
PowerPoints and other resources, if applicable.

The sessions will generally be offered on Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons, and usually 15:30 to
16:00, but exceptions may occur to ensure coordination with the study programme, assignment due
dates, the exam date, and to also make provision for eventualities as load shedding or connectivity
issues.
