Answers:
 When will Sonata Arctica play in [enter country here] ?

- All official tourdates can be found on the official website. All others are rumours. If you want
Sonata Arctica to play in your country, you should contact a local promotion agency to book them

- Tony appears on the "From Wishes To Eternity"-DVD of Nightwish, where he sang "Beauty And
The Beast" live on stage. Besides he can be heard on Nightwish's "Over The Hills And Far
Away"-album, in the remake of "Astral Romance".

 Who is Dana ?

- Dana is Mary-Lou, Mary-Lou is Tallulah and Tallulah is Victoria. Dana is nobody or could be
everybody, it is just a figure out of Tony's imagination! The name 'Dana' was inspired by an X-
Files character but has nothing to do with her.

 Where can I get UnOpened CDS, Live at Provinssirock and Only Way You Can ?

- UnOpened is, like all other singles, only published in Finland, but now very rare and seems to
be sold out. Check eBay for it, but beware - it might be very expensive!
- Live At Provinssirock is a promo CD from France. It was only available as a bonus CD of
"Silence" to those who bought the album at Virgin Megastore, and it's limited to 2500 copies. You
can also search for the South-American version of Successor, it contains 7 songs from this
Provinssirock promo.
- Only Way You Can is a bootleg, so you should not pay any money for it.

 What are bootlegs ?

- Bootlegs are illegal recordings of live-concerts recorded and often collected by fans. You should
never buy or sell them since the band won't get any money of this.

 Where can I find the early demos ?

- The first three demos do only exist on tape and unless you know any person who got them from
the band, it is almost impossible to get them. They are not available from any shops or from the
internet. Never pay for those even if you get an offer.

 Which videos do officially exist ?

- Sonata Arctica have recorded two videos. One is "Wolf & Raven" which can be found on the
Japanese version of "Songs of Silence", on "Orientation", on the limited French version of
"Silence" and on several DVD compilations (Spinefarm, Nuclear Blast,...). The other one is a live
clip from "Broken" which can be found on "Takatalvi". There is also a "Kingdom For A Heart"-clip
from their show in Paris 2003 recorded by the French RockHard magazine but not published on
any of Sonata Arctica's releases. All other live clips are bootlegs and no official videos.

 Where can I find Sonata Arctica's lyrics? Especially the lyrics from "The Gun" and "Dream
Thieves" ?

- All lyrics should be available in the booklets from each album. All other lyrics can be found on
the official website or on several fansites.

 Where can I find Sonata Arctica-tabs ?

- On sites like Mysongbook.com or SonataArctica.net you can find them as Guitar Pro files. Some
tabs are available on the official website as text files as well. There is also a songbook (released
in Japan only).

 What is said at the end of "Silence"/"Winterheart's Guild" ?

- Silence: "And I fucking touched the mic, hold on."

- Winterheart's Guild: One day a bild flew into the studio, and Ahti (owner of Tico Tico Studio)
tries to get it out. Finally he succeeds, so Tony says that he should win a prize from Greenpeace
("Ansaitsetteko greenpeacen") - Ahti answers: "Yeah, a bird meal!" (-"Lintupaistin")
Then, after the silence, Henkka says "Mä oon Henkka ja mä tulin nyt." which means "I'm Henkka
and I came now".

 What is the meaning of the things written on the sleeve of the Silence/Winterheart's Guild
longsleeve ?

- Silence: "Menkaa pois" = "Go Away"

- Winterheart's Guild: "Päätää riisiin" = "Put your head on rice" - [+ 'Don't Ask'] and "Vasen" (right)
+ "Oikea" (left)

 Where can I find Sonata Arctica's shirts ?

- At concerts shirts are sold - but if you are not able to visit them, have a look at
www.metalmerchant.com, there they sell shirts of Silence and Winterheart's Guild, the actual
Tourshirt and the Girlie; www.Nuclearblast.de and www.Northfire.de have them as well. The
finnish site www.swampmusic.com has the Tourshirt and the Girlie and from the UK shop
www.cjs.co.uk you may also find all of them - and of course you can check eBay. Sooner or later
a shop will be opened here, on the official website, too. There might be more shops that are
selling them.

 Did Sonata Arctica really cover "Over The Hills And Far Away" ?

- No, KaZaA lies! Same goes for nearly all other songs which are not mentioned at the official
website but nevertheless can be found at one of the filesharing programs. That song that is
named "Sonata Arctica - Over The Hills And Far Away" is a coverversion played by the Swedish
band Thyrfing. Other songs that might appear at filesharing programs could be some of these:

"Stronger Than All" - by Hammerfall

"Images Of The Past" - by Kenziner
"Forest Of Unicorns" - by Rhapsody
"Last September" and "Rock Box" - by Marty Friedman
"Thor (The Thundergod)" - by Zonata
"In Between" - by Lost Horizon

 What is the meaning of Takatalvi ?

- You can find this explanation by Tony in the Takatalvi booklet. But for those that don't have it:
'Takatalvi is a finnish word meaning (as it says in dictionary) "cold spell in spring", a short
moment when it suddenly gets colder and often we get a new snow cover on the landscape for a
day or even for only few hours. I thought this would in a way describe this little compilation very
well. All songs are old and suddenly "brought back" like "Takatalvi".'

 What is the meaning of Revontulet ?

- Revontulet is the Finnish expression for northern lights/aurora borealis.

 Why did Sonata Arctica call their latest Album "Winterheart's Guild" and what is the meaning
of its cover ?

- On the cover you can see 4 persons - one stands for each season. The two persons in the front
are Autumn and Winter, and Autumn gives the power, the spectre of all seasons, to Winter,
because that's the strongest season in Finland. In the booklet itself you can see the four guys
(Henrik did not yet play on that album) in form of the seasons, so they are the... 'Winterheart's
Guild'.
