I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
a. Describe the 4 Functions of Computer
b. Identify the different Examples of Computer devices
c. Explain the relationships of 4 functions of computer and basic troubleshooting
d. Value the purpose of Computer Processing Unit (CPU)
e. Perform one type of basic trouble shooting of computer
A. Preparation
Prayer:
“Class let’s all stand. May I ask someone to lead a prayer? 1 student will raise his/her hands to lead a prayer.
Anyone here?”

have tackled yesterday, and yesterday we discuss about the
Operating System and its examples and classifications. Isn’t?” Yes Ma’am.

“Since you’ve already known the 7-basic troubleshooting of
computer. This time, kindly select one, then perform it with your
groupmates. You’re group performance will be graded base on
the rubrics that I will be provided. You may use it as your guide
too. After you accomplished the task please provide me a brief
step of how you troubleshoot your computer.”

IV. EVALUATION
INSTRUCTIONS: Read each statement carefully. Identify the computer devices being asked.
Kindly write your answers in 1 whole sheet of yellow pad paper. STRICTLY NO ERASURES,
or else it will automatically be considered as wrong.
1. It is an input device that allows you to enter letters, numbers and symbols into your
computer.
2. A device with flat surface that can move the cursor to different items on the screen. Items
can be moved or selected by pushing or clicking.
3. It displays text, images, and user interface elements by lighting up thousands of pixels
with different colors.
4. It is an output device that Converts digital signals into audible sound waves.
5. Its purpose is to process data and information and this is why it's a processing device.
