The bar chart illustrates the turnover recorded all over the world of four
types of digital games in billions of dollars from 2000 to 2006.

Looking at the graph, it is apparent that the sales of all types of digital
games saw the vigorous growth with the exception of that of console
games. Within the 7-year-period, the global revenue of handheld games
registered the highest figure.

Regarding to the turnover of handheld games all over the world in 2000, it
was stood nearly at 12 billion dollars, then it increase gradually to 18 billion
dollars in 2006. Coversely, there was a slight decrease in the total amount
of money which was spent on console games by people in different areas
in the world, from 6 billion dollars at the beginning to 3 billion dollars at the
final year of the period.

The year 2001 witnessed the introduction of a new type of digital games-
online games, which the sales of it was inconsiderable at that year, then it
rocketed to 9 billion dollars in 2006. Likewise, the climb of the global
revenue of mobile phone games began follow by the invention of it in 2002,
from over 1 billion dollars at the beginning year to more than 6 billion
dollars.
