Abstract

This paper focuses on finding the significant difference of school safety in

Assumption College of Davao in terms of demographic profile (gender and age

ranges from 16-20). Descriptive- comparative was the research design used in the

study that examine the variation and association between variables. The study was

conducted at Assumption College of Davao which the target respondents are the

senior high school evening class. Simple random sampling technique was used to

acquire the sample population of 284 respondents. The respondents were tasked to

complete a questionnaire. The study used statistical tools namely t-test and ANOVA.

Results revealed that there is no significant difference in perception of school safety

when analyzed in terms of gender showing .391 as significance that indicate male

and female have neutral perspective. And the study also shows that there is no

significant difference between perception of school safety when analyzed in terms of

age that ranges from 16-20 years old. It accumulated a .255 as significance which

implies that they have similar perspective in school safety.
