The first picture shows a damaged public phone/ missing from the booth while the second picture shows a wall
which have been written by negative words. Both pictures shows a same problem, which is vandalism. Vandalism
means an action involving destruction of or damage to public or private property. Acts of vandalism occur almost
every day, targeting various locations, such as lifts at housing flats, public parks, road signs, bus stops and other
public amenities. While vandalism in Malaysia is not as severe as seen in many Western countries, the extent of
the damage is still a serious problem that must be tackled effectively. Those who commit any act of vandalism
shall be guilty of an offence and be sued.
