The Essential Coaching Checklist
The Essential Coaching Checklist
Are you and your client both in agreement of the starting point of their
current situation, behaviour or context?
Yes No
AIM
Clearly defined goals - defining what success looks like when a client starts
working with you is the key to keeping things on track. As the coach, you get
to ask yourself and your client, ‘what is going to help take them one step
closer to the outcome they desire?’ It’s also recognising that sometimes
goals change, so creating clearly defined session goals is really important
too.
Yes No
ALCHEMY
Having your own set of tools and techniques that can help a client clearly
move beyond old, outdated ways of thinking and being. The most effective
coaching will work with a client neurologically, somatically - physiologically
AND energetically.
Are you using tools that support your client in all three of the
dimensions of change, neurologically, somatically and energetically?
Yes No
ADAPT
Once space has been created with your alchemy toolkit, you help a client
create new patterns of thinking and behaviour, rewiring new neural
pathways for them to use in the outside world. You get to help your client
measure their progress through clearly defined AIMS that they get to meet
in between sessions.
Are you using tools that will rewire your clients nervous systems,
the way they think and the way that they feel?
Yes No
ASSIMILATE
This phase is where a client fully embodies and integrates the upgrades in
the way they view themselves, view the World and how they show up in the
World.
Are you setting your clients goals and intentions where they get to
practise their new skill sets, reactions and responses?
Yes No
ACTIVATE
This phase works hand in hand with the ASSIMILATE phase and is where the
client takes action to create desired outcomes. If a client is in the ALCHEMY
AND ADAPT phase or if this is not working for your client then circling back to
AWARENESS AND AIM, to ensure that you are working on the thing that the
client wants to transform is your next step and then begin the process
again.
Are you setting clear action points for your clients at the end of your
sessions, with clear timelines for completion and then following up with
them during your next session on completion rates?
Yes No
