ROUTINE
IMMUNIZATION
Vaccines can prevent
common diseases that used
to seriously harm or even kill
infants and children. A Fully
Immunized infant must
complete 3 doses of
Pentavalent, 3 doses of
pneumococcal vaccine, 3
doses of oral polio vaccine, 2
doses of inactivated polio
vaccine, measles & Measles,
Mumps, Rubella (MMR) not
later that 1 year old and 28
days.
PRENATAL HOME
VISIT
We make sure that the
pregnant mother and her
baby is healthy.
VITAMIN A
Administration of Vitamin A
100,000iu to babies who
turned six months old.
Assessed for continuous
breastfeeding and
introduction of
complimentary feeding.

DEWORMING
Children are most vulnerable
to worm infections as their
immune system is not yet
fully developed. Untreated
worm infections prevent
children’s healthy growth,
cause poor nutrition and
reduce their capacity to
concentrate and learn.
This activity is done two
times yearly or every six
months.
POSTPARTUM HOME
VISIT
Provision of postnatal care to
mothers within 1st 7 days
after delivery. Care includes
Blood Pressure monitoring,
provision of Vitamin A and
Ferrous Sulfate.
Information, Education and
communication about
Breastfeeding, Family
planning, Child Immunization
and Proper hygiene were
imparted.

INNOVATIVE PROJECT
Assisted the assigned
Barangay Health Nurse in the
making corners for the
different health programs in
the Barangay Health Station
such as Breastfeeding
Corner, Family Planning
Corner, Pregnancy
monitoring board, Child
Immunization monitoring
board and other health
programs.

IN THE DAY CARE
CENTER
Health teaching about proper
hygiene, oral care and
proper tooth brushing and
hand washing with return
demonstration.

TIMBANG PROGAM
Is quarterly weighing and
height measurement of all
preschool children 0-59
months old and children 60-
71 months old are not yet in
school and done in
communities to identify and
locate the malnourished
children.

Administration of
supplemental doses every six
months to all infants and
children aged 6-59mos.
BLOOD DONATION
CAMPAIGN
House-to-house blood letting
campaign. Health teachings
were given about the
importance of donating
blood.
FLU AND PCV
VACCINES FOR
SENIOR CITIZEN
Assisted barangay health
nurse during the
administration of flu and
pnuemo vaccines to the
elderly. Blood Pressure
monitoring before and after
the vaccine and observed for
any adverse effects.

HPV VACCINE
Human Papillomavirus
vaccines are vaccines that
prevent infection by certain
types of human
papillomavirus. Protects
against genital warts and
most cases of cervical cancer.
This vaccine can be given
starting at age 9. Children
should get tow doses of HPV
Vaccine, given 6-12 month
apart.
