Introduction
The Fluke 714 Thermocouple Calibrator is a precise source and measurement tool for calibrating thermocouple
instruments. The calibrator sources or measures in units of °C, °F, or mV, through a thermocouple minijack.

✓ Power supply: 9 V alkaline battery.

Note: 714 Thermocouple Calibrator it does not source and Measure simultaneously.

Fluke 714 Thermocouple Calibrator Operation

Measuring a Thermocouple
✓ Press the green pushbutton to turn the calibrator on
and off.
✓ Press the INPUT/OUTPUT pushbutton to select either
INPUT(measuring) or OUTPUT (simulating).

✓ Press to toggle °F or °C.

✓ Press to select the desired Thermocouple type.

✓ Press or to select a type of thermocouple input

configuration.
✓ Connect TC wire and miniplug as shown in the figure.

Simulating a Thermocouple
✓ Press the green pushbutton to turn the calibrator on and
off.
✓ Press the INPUT/OUTPUT pushbutton to select either
INPUT(measuring) or OUTPUT (simulating).

✓ Press to toggle °F or °C.

✓ Press to select the desired Thermocouple type.

✓ Press or to step up/down 50 °C (or 10 mV).

✓ Press or to scroll up/down 0.1° (or 0.01 mV).Hold
down to scroll faster.
✓ Connect TC wire and miniplug as shown in the figure.
