Powerzest Energy Solutions is a renewable energy company developing wind and solar energy solutions.
We design and develop novel wind turbine and solar hybrid energy products. Our mission is to develop

Role Description

This is a paid, full-time on-site Electrical Engineering Internship in Mumbai. The Electrical Engineering
Intern will be responsible for supporting electrical design projects, testing, analyzing data, and assisting
with system integration. The intern will also be responsible for communicating with team members and
external stakeholders. This position would work on several production and R&D projects related to wind
and solar energy domains. Please consider the following day-to-day responsibilities for this position.

Responsibilities

 Design and build renewable energy management power electronics, including modeling and
circuit design
 Design MPPT algorithm for wind and solar systems
 PCB design using Easy EDA and SPICE simulation
 PCB ordering, vendor follow-up, testing, troubleshooting, and design iteration as per requirement
 Arduino programming and algorithm development
 Time-dependent data collection and storage system design for R&D using microprocessor
 Work with different sensors such as solar sensors, wind speed sensors, strain sensors, and work
with different actuators and servo systems to facilitate controlled mechanical movement
 Design of programmable, automated electrical load
 Generator selection for wind turbines, solar panel selection, battery selection, inverter system
selection, net metering system installation
 Power converter design/selection like buck converter, boost converter, and buck-boost converter
as per the requirement
 Battery management system selection and battery charging system design

 Start to finish ownership of hardware – from specification to design, prototype, PCB

manufacturing, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and final product development.
 Breadboard prototyping as required
 Digital controller design and feedback algorithm development
 Work alongside mechanical engineering and project management teams to develop
complementary power management and delivery systems
 Report on the project development to the management

Qualifications

 Knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity

 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / ETRX / EXTC or related field or currently pursuing
a degree in the relevant engineering field
 Prior experience and ability to design PCBs using the EasyEDA online tool
 Substantial hands-on hardware project experience in electrical and electronics engineering
 Soldering complex SMD and through-hole components
 Knowledge of solder paste and solder wire along with stencil
 Experience using soldering iron, hot air gun, flux, and safety equipment
 2+ years of relevant hands-on hardware experience in PCB prototyping
 Strong understanding of power electronics topologies
 Experience with Arduino programming and sensor integration
 Understanding of the theory and application of inductors, capacitors, and other magnetic
components
 Experience and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex circuits

Employment Type

 Full Time Internship and permanent after 3 Months based on performance

Salary Range:

 15-25k Per months, depends on hands-on Project Experience
