THIS IS FOR THE EMPLOYEES WHO ARE TRANSFERRED FROM HAZIRA OR

TRANSFERRED IN TO HAZIRA. MAY PLEASE NOTE:

A. WITH FAMILY
1. They are entitled for hotel accommodation for fifteen days maximum to two rooms (with
family).

2. Employees and his family members shall be allowed the facility of food in the hotel of stay
up to 15 days and food shall be restricted to equivalent amount of two DA for each day of
stay which will be reckoned for the entire period of the stay, hence no extra DA will be
paid.

3. It may be further noted that food taken for any of the period during stay will be counted
for the entire stay in hotel. However, if the employee stay in hotel but do not take food
"means" in lieu of food: will be paid one DA for each member for family up to 15 days. This
may be given wide publicity.

4. The employees can travel as per their entitlement by the shortest route.

5. The employee is entitled for two trucks.

a. Transportation of personal effects.
b. Transportation of car on which CMRE is drawn.

6. A member of an employee family, who follows him/her within 6 months from the date of
his/her transfer or precedes him/her by not more than one month, may be treated as
accompanying him/her with the approval of competent authority.

7. Children of an employee who are studying in educational institutions and who are not actually
residing with him/her at the time of transfer to a new station but later come to spend
vacation at the new place of posting shall be treated as member of his/her family for the
purpose to TTA and allowed the usual travelling allowance with the approval of competent
authority.

8. Employee on transfer in the interest of company will be entitled to transfer grant i.e. two
basics and two DAs last drawn.

9. Other than house hold truck charges, an employee is entitled for packing/loading and
unloading charges which are as under:
UPTO E-3 LEVEL: Rs 24000/-
E4 TO E6 LEVEL: Rs. 31500/-
E7 & ABOVE : Rs. 37500/- AND

10. Insurance charges for house hold goods shall be as under:

UPTO E-3 LEVEL: Rs. 10500/-

E4 TO E6 LEVEL: Rs. 12750/-
E7 & ABOVE : Rs. 15000/-

11. If both husband and wife working at the same station and are transferred within six months
from present place to new place of posting, only one of them will be entitled to transfer
benefit.
 12. Note: if an employee is transferred on own interest from one place to other, he is not
entitled to get TA/TTA/truck charges/joining time etc.

13. Employees transferred in or out from NE can encash joining period instead of availing, if
they wish so.

B. FOR BACHELORS ON TRNASFER IN OR OUT.

1. They are entitled for hotel accommodation for fifteen days.

2. Employees shall be allowed the facility of food in the hotel of stay up to 15 days and food shall
be restricted to equivalent amount of two DA for each day of stay which will be reckoned for
the entire period of the stay, hence no extra da will be paid.

3. It may be further noted that food taken for any of the period during stay will be counted for
the entire stay in hotel. However, if the employee stay in hotel but do not take food "means" in
lieu of food: will be paid one DA up to 15 days.

4. The employees can travel as per their entitlement by the shortest route.

5. The employee is entitled for one truck for car on which CMRE is drawn.

6. 400 Kgs for transporting the personal effects restricted to the charges of transportation by
the passenger train from the place of posting to new place of posting.

7. Charges for reimbursement of personal effects shall not be separately admissible to such
officers who claim reimbursement of full truck charges of car. However, he will be reimbursed
packing/loading/unloading and insurance charges to the extent of 40%.

8. Reimbursement towards packing/loading/unloading and insurance charges shall be limited to

the 25% of the maximum limit given below.

9. The limits of packing/loading/unloading are as under:

a. UPTO E-3 LEVEL: Rs. 24000/-

b. E4 TO E6 LEVEL: Rs. 31500/-
c. E7 & ABOVE : Rs. 37500/-

10. Insurance charges for house hold goods shall be as under:

a. UPTO E-3 LEVEL: Rs. 10500/-

b. E4 TO E6 LEVEL : Rs. 12750/-
c. E7 & ABOVE : Rs. 15000/-

All the above reimbursements are subject to the production of supporting documents.
