Both characters were key pieces for the beginning of independence, but there were some differences between

them as physical, Josefa was shorter than Hidalgo also Hidalgo was thinner than Josefa, the corregidora was
beautiful so Josefa was prettier than Hidalgo, both They were admirable Hidalgo was firmer than Josefa, so
Josefa was friendlier than Hidalgo, just as Hidalgo was simpler than Josefa, Josefa had more ideas so Josefa was
calmer than Hidalgo, just as Josefa was braver than Hidalgo upon being discovered.

Miguel Gregorio Antonio Ignacio Hidalgo

He was born in San Diego de Corralejo, Penjamo, Guanajuato, he was a teacher from a very young age,
he learned different languages, he was a priest, he attended the parish of Dolores, he improved the
conditions of his parishioners, he cared for the indigenous people, he taught them the work of the
farming. In 1778 he joined the secret society of Valladolid whose objective was to obtain the
independence of the country. In Querétaro a conspiracy was gesticulated to which he joined. On
September 16, 1810 he decided to take the banner of the Virgin of Guadalupe, he launched the cry of
independence that unleashed a revolt. On January 11, 1811 he was defeated near Guadalajara by soldiers,
escaped to Aguascalientes and Zacatecas, was captured and imprisoned, condemned, died, beheaded
and his head hung as a warning.

Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez

Known as the corregidora, she belonged to the Creole class but defended their interests and class, helped
the indigenous people, carried out numerous charitable works, organized meetings against the viceroy,
chose the right thing, fought without hesitation, spoke sincerely. She held her position, she was locked
in her own house, she warned others by clicking a shoe, she was brave and unconditional at the beginning
of her, she left her pride. She was accused of being a conspirator, she was arrested and transferred to
Mexico where she was tried, she was declared a conspirator, she was confined in a convent, she fulfilled
her duty as a patriot. She died in Mexico, after the remains of her moved to Queretaro, where she is
considered a heroine the corregidora de Queretaro. She broke the chains of oppression.

I chose the corregidora since she was an admirable woman in every way faithful to her principles and convictions,
as well as capable and brave, the influence she exerts is that of the tenacity to defend what is fair to enforce what
is correct, to defend people They need it as well as the support and fidelity to a cause, also being responsible and
accepting the consequences that arise was brave at all times.
