A. INTRODUCATION
1. Background

WB INTERNATIONAL HOTEL has invited eligible companies for existing

fountain construction modification work. Based on this, Aqua fountain
works. Has shown interest in participating on the invitation bid and has
prepared this technical proposal for existing fountain construction
modification work and service.

The Technical Proposal, which is presented in the subsequent sections

of this document, has been prepared In accordance with requirement of
the bidding document, and we believe it is fully responsive to its
stipulations.

2. Structure of the Technical Proposal

This Proposal is divided into three parts. Following the introduction (A),
part two (B) Gives highlights about the company, part three provides
basic qualification information in accordance to the requirement we
proposed to be relevant for the project.

The objective of this section would be to present the essential element

for bid qualification. Finally, the Proposal closes with over all information
gathered during the site visit, site appreciation, method statements &
schedules.

B. OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

1.General

Aqua fountain works comprises of very experienced engineers,

equipped with construction, vehicles & experienced engineers, equipped
with construction firm has executed numerous construction activities
and has addition to construction work, our company is involved in
design, supervision, and design-build projects.

To meet the vision, Aqua fountain works has purchased all the necessary
machinery and equipment and also recruited the necessary man power
at present has obtained a construction license from the Addis Ababa city
administration, Akaki Kaliti sub city trade and industry development
office. Also, hired partners for design works.

2 Man power

To obtain a successful accomplishment of all duties and responsibilities

of the company Aqua fountain works has systematic or organizational
and administrative framework.

The founding members and employers of the company comprise, civil

engineers, architects, hydraulic engineers, building engineers, surveyors,
well-experienced construction foremen, sanitary foremen and crew of
different skilled labors in civil and water works.

C. PROPOSAL METHODOLOGY AND WORK PLAN

1. PROPOSED WORK METHODOLOGY AS PER SITE CONDITION

1.2 Civil construction works
The work sequence will be as follows:-
 First wear safety glasses and glasses and gloves to prevent
accident that can caused by flying pieces of concretes and
demolish metal works.
 Cart away surplus material from the hotel compound and
stoke valuable materials where appropriate in the hotel
compound.
 Maintain block work and make it ready
 Counties to wood work by using laser lever standard
machine.
 Apply the shied and fountain corner with 900.
 Supply and fix imported black glassing cladding on the wall
and pond internal and external surface where the water can
slide.
 Preparing water pond for the purpose of recycling water
finishing by glass mosaic or other materials to pond wall
with adhesive mortal mix backing with water proof M
admixture and 2mm joints to be grouted in white cement.

1.2 Sanitary installation

The works sequence will be as follows:-

 Fountain pump: supply, fix and test two submersible leyo-

pump (2HP/3HP).
 Water and Drainage installation work:-
 Supply and install RAK diameter 32mm and 40mm
 Chisel and construct water drain out pit.
 Supply and fix approve type 10ps

1.3 Electrical installation works

The works sequence will be as follows:-

 Electrical equipment

 Supply and install PVC insulated power NYY0.6/1kv or

equivalent inside PVC conduit of 5x2.5sq mm 50m rigid
conduit.
 Supplies for the shield outer artistic lumps above 30w.
 Artificial plant for fountain 40x60 and for the shield.
 Supply and install submersible water proof light emitting
diode (LED) spotlight system (red, green and blue color)
12W pound light IP687 water proof submersible light, wall
mounted.
 Supply and install outdoor water proof shooting light point
40W (2pis) for projection to engraved hotel name.
 Light point supplied by 2x25mm2 wire thought 16mm rigid
conduit surface mounted distribution board for ground
(SDB), in IP 54 sheet steel with look able door.
