INTRODUCTION

Lay Hong Farm Sdn. Bhd. commenced their first layer

farming operations in the 1960s. Lay Hong Poultry Farm Co.
were established by the sole proprietorship business by the
late father of three brothers and Mr. Yeap Weng Hoong and
Mr. Yip Kim Hoong who then took over the control and
managed the business in 1973. On 27 September 1983, this
business expanded on leadership by three brothers until they
could change the entire operations of Lay Hong Poultry Farm
Co to Lay Hong Farm Sdn. Bhd. After that, it was listed on the
stock exchange on 20 October 1994. In 2000, this company
ventured into the field of broiler farming and until now has
fully integrated its layer and broiler farming operation.
