Micro Teaching Task

Directions: You will find 2 tasks to be completed. Create 2 Google Docs for each task given and
share to satria.kirana@vitaschool.sch.id and oscar.thamrin@vitaschool.sch.id

TASK 1:
Write your response to the following questions. Each response should be around 100 words.
a.) What is Project Based Learning and how does it differ from a traditional English class?
b.) Do you have experience in teaching Project Based Learning?
c.) What do you think is the relevance or importance of Project Based Learning in
Kurikulum Merdeka?

TASK 2:
Create your own original project following the instructions below.
PROJECT NAME: WORLD WITHOUT BORDERS

Grade: 10

● Create an overview for 1 project consisting of 11 meetings, that are held online.
-Each meeting lasts for 60 minutes. Explain what students will do in each meeting.
-How will the students collaborate with each other throughout the project? What kind of
activities/materials would you design for them?
-How would you evaluate the students individually and collectively in a group?
● Create 3-5 question prompts that will guide the students in understanding what the project is
all about.
● Find authentic reading material relevant to the project
● 30 project-related vocabulary words
● Describe the possible project product that you can expect the students to do (preferably on the
highest level of Bloom’s Taxonomy)
-How would you showcase the abovementioned product publically?
● How would you integrate technology into this project? How can digital citizenship be a part of
technology integration?
● Create a reflective material for the end of the project (they can be in written or video form)
