CUF Week 6 g9 FRUSTRATION
I. Objectives:
Read and identify verbs or action words from the given text.
Use verbs or action words to complete the sentence.
Appreciate the teaching of Jesus in our life.
IV. Procedures:
A. Pre- Reading (30 mins.)
Motivation: Watch the video and reflect from the video.

Activity 1: Mystery Word (see annex 1)
Match the meaning of the meaning of the given words in Column A to Column B. Then read the words
correctly.
COLUMN A COLUMN B
1. dilemma a. a story used to show a moral lesson
2. Levite b. In biblical times, a person who lived in Samarian
3. Samaritan c.an expert on the law
4. verbs d. a member of the tribe of Levi, who help priest

Activity 2: Name It!
Activate students’ prior knowledge by showing of pictures. Students will be asked to name the action of
a given picture. Then they are going to write their answer on the blank provided. This can be done by
pair or group
(Note: After answering the activity, the teacher will explain the picture and tell them what these words
are. Then discuss it.)
1. As the man strolled the road, two thieves jumped out from their hiding place in the hills.
2. A priest walked by and saw the Jewish man at the road side.
3. He crossed the street and walked away.
4. The Samaritan took pity to the man. He bought medicine, wine, oil and bandage.
5. He also gave money to the innkeeper and promised to pay back any extra that the inn keeper spent.
Direction: Fill in the sentence with the correct verb or action words. Choose your answer from the words inside
the box.
