numbers, letters and symbols to uniquely identify an article or document, and to provide it
with a permanent web address (URL). However, this is not always available.

DOI is a unique string of letters, numbers, and symbols that identifies an
article or book and links to it on the web. This protects the link from
being broken.

Example:

Format:

Include the DOI, if available; otherwise, use the
