Q.Evaluate and write the good and the bad aspects of the attached video clip on the basis of
principles of oral presentation.

ANS- THE GOOD AND BAD ASPECTS ABOUT THE ATTACHED VIDEO ARE FOLLOWING :

GOOD ASPECTS ABOUT THE VIDEO :

1. GOOD INTRODUCTION : The introduction of the presentator was very good and very nicely
he introduced us to the topic . He also give a quick recap of the incident happened in past
few days.

2. CONFIDENCE: While representing the information presentator looks very confident and
there was no nervousness in his voice or in his body language. Which really makes the
video conveniencing.

3. MODULATION OF THE VOICE: The presentator have a great sense of communication as

the tone of his voice was keep changing according to the seriousness of the information.

4. FACIAL EXPRESSIONS: The expression of the presentator was also changing according to
the seriousness of the information.

5. GOOD COLOUR CONTRAST BETWEEN SLIDE BACKGROUND AND FONT: The colour of the
slide was dark green and font colour was white which combines well and easy to read.

6. GOOD FONT SIZE: Font size was also very good that the veiwer can easily read the
information without giving any pressure on their eyes . It was neither too big nor too
small.And giving the information in written also helps those veiwer who are not able to
hear.
7. GOOD SPEED OF TRANSITION AND ANIMATION EFFECTS ON SLIDE: The speed of the
slide transition and animation was very good.It was neither too fast that no one can read
it nor too slow that viewer get irritated.It was readable for the viewer. You don't have to
stop the video to read the information you can read it easily when the video is playing.

8. USE OF IMAGES: Every time when the presentator was presentating any information he
used the image related to the information so that veiwer can understand more about the
situation.And the size of image was also good it wasn't so small that the veiwer can't see
it .

9. UNBIASED: The presentator doesn't look biased toward any of the country as he didn't
mention that any country he finds right or wrong . He only shares the information he got
 about the both countries.

10. HAND GESTURES: While representing the information the presentator was keep doing
hand gestures which really sync with his expressions and words . which make the
presentation more understandable.

11. SIMPLE LANGUAGE: He used very simple language to explain the information .He didn't
use very technical,complicated sentence or difficult words instead of this he used simple
words and simple way to explain the information.

12. RELIABLE INFORMATION: The information he provides through this video is fully reliable.
It wasn't fake or made up. It was totally true.

BAD ASPECTS ABOUT THE VIDEO :

1. UNNECESSARY BACKGROUND MUSIC: The background music usually use to create an

atmosphere for your information but in this video there was a background music which
was very hard to listen without earphones as its intensity was very low and so basically it
was unnecessary and doesn't even sync with the presentation speed.

2. TIME CONSUMING: Duration of the video can be short . Few point of the presentation
was not required like official statements made by the officials of the country was't
required.Like tweet of Ukrainian defence ministry, statement made by President's close
one
3. POP-UP ADS DIVERTS THE ATTENTION: All the poping up ads diverts the attention from
the topic as suddenly the screen changes its adjustment and our mind diverts from the
topic to the ads.

4. LACK OF BASIC INFORMATION OF WAR: It lacks the basic information about the ongoing
war . Why the war is happening ? as the video was long this point could be added in
this.Everyone might not aware of this.

5. MAP COULD BE USED FOR SHOWING THE CURRENT SITUATION OF THE AFFECTED
AREA: In this video we listen that RUSSIA is claiming that four of UKRAINIAN states are
now there part and BELARUS is also supporting them in the war. If a map could be used in
this video so that it will be easy to show all the affected area occupied by RUSSIA. And
how RUSSIA, BELARUS and UKRAINE's borders are connected.Also the main topic of the
presentation was the CRIMEAN BRIDGE (KERCH BRIDGE ), a map could have helped us
to know that where it is located in the black sea and in which direction it connects
CRIMEA and RUSSIA? and how it will affect RUSSIA's transport.

6. LACK OF INTRACTION: As the video was pre-shooted the connection between the
presentator and the audience was missing and it makes the video less intracting.
 7. INFORMAL WAY OF PRESENTATION: The presentator's way of presentating the news was
very informal. While addressing the presidents of both countries, the presentator used
their names as Putin and Zelensky which was very informal.

8. USED FEW ORGANISATION NAME BUT DIDN'T EXPLAIN THEIR ROLE: While presenting
the news the presentator took name of few organisation like G7,NATO (North Atlantic
Treaty Organisation ) and E.U (European Union ) but he didn't mention the purpose of
these organisations and what is there role and choice on this matter. Everyone might not
know about these organisations .

9. LACK OF ACCURATE INFORMATION: We cannot know for sure how many weapons were
used, how many lives were lost and how much property was damaged. As its a matter of
two countries we can not trust the accuracy of the information as the one country always
deny the claim made by the another country.

10. ENGLISH SUBTLE CAN BE USED: As the presenter is well known social media influencer
and their channel have more than 22 million subscribers it is obvious that they have a
wide reach in the country and maybe out of the country also. And as we all know india is a
multilanguage country and people out of india might also not know hindi so he could have
used english subtitles that a non- hindi language people can also understand the
information.

11. MIXED GLOBAL NEWS WITH NATIONAL NEWS: The presentator himself mentioned this
program is made for international news but he mixed the national news of demise of the
former chief minister of UTTAR PRADESH with the international news.

12. SLOW PRESENTATION: The speed of the presentation was very slow that the veiwer
might loose their interest in watching the video.While telling the information presentator
was taking so many pauses it also makes the video slow.

CONCLUSION :

If we talk about the overall video it has so many good points but it also lacks on some points.It
provides good information but also takes more time.Its informations are reliable but not
accurate. He used simple language but not helpful for non- hindi veiwer. The colur contrast of
slide was very good and readable. He also used good slide transition and animation but
popping up ads diverts the attention from the information to the ads.Communication skills
were good but it was also informal.There was also a background music available but it doesn't
blends well with the presentation and it was very hard to listen without earphone as its intensity
was very low.
