5. IMPEDANCE MEASUREMENT AT 415V: As per IEC60076-6 clause 8.9.2 & 8.9.5.

5.1. Test Procedure

➢ Short circuit R2,Y2,B2 side of winding.

➢ Apply 3ph supply to the winding from R1,Y1,B1.
➢ Measure the voltage and current.
➢ Calculate the impedance Z.

5.2. Result

Formula:

Impedance (Z) = Applied Voltage

Avg Measured Phase Current x √3
Calculation as per FAT:

Impedance measured at 415V = 17.80 Ω/phase Shield saturation = 2 Tesla

Over current factor = 5.87 Shield at rated current = 1 Tesla
Air cored inductance = 15.52

Imp. at short circuit current = ((17.80*(2/1))+(15.52(5.87-(2/1))))/5.87 Ω/phase

= 16.29 Ω/phase

5.3. Criteria: With reference to FAT -0, +10% by calculation from measured results.
