FOR SUBMISSION
Using the space below and the back page, share with us your Spiritual Growth Testimony. Which area/s of
your life have you experienced the most growth while taking GLC? Tell us about it (Choose at least 1):
I thank God for giving me the opportunity to be part of GLC 2 because through our lessons, most specially on book
7, which focuses on family life and relationship, I was able to recognize my shortcomings towards family members
- that I was pursuing career and other relationship more than spending enough time with them. I have discovered
that I was indifferent towards some of my family members because I was too busy, I was not spending quality time
with them and I was not listening well.
Having this kind of evaluation has helped me grow my relationshp with them. Since I became more aware of my
shortcomings, I have intentionally been spending time with my parents and even with my Niece and Nephew, I
have been practicing active listening and as a result, I am experiencing gradual change and improvement in my
relationship with them. Through our lesson on “Communication and Restoring relationships”, I have gained better
understanding why tone of voice, facial expression and listening well are vital in our communication. This
understanding has helped me become more conscious and careful with my tone of voice and facial expression since
then. Consequently, I am able to convey clearly what I really mean and it helped them understand me better.
Listening is really a good skill to apply too because it has helped me understand them and their needs better.
There’s a lot more to improve but I thank God that I am growing little by little and through the help and power of
the Holy Spirit who is constantly and actively working in me, I will be able to bring them closer to Christ and give
glory to our God! ☺
II. DISCIPLESHIP

Updated as of June 2, 2021
GLC aligns with the Acts 1:8 thrust that ministry flows outward from one’s Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the
“remotest part of the earth”. For you as a GLC 2 trainee, one’s Judea is translated to reaching your own discipleship group
starting with at least one member. Follow the Discipleship Plan below to indicate what you have implemented in your
Dgroup.
Do any of the following with your family members and tell us about it using the space below and the back
page.

1. Start a devotion with your family
2. Reconcile with any family member that you have a conflict or a strained relationship with
3. Do an act of kindness towards a member of your family
4. Invite a family member or your relatives to attend CCF Worship or other CCF sponsored events (True
Life, parenting seminar, retreats, financial seminars, etc.).
No. 4
I praise God for the active work of God in the heart of my mother because of her growing hunger to learn
and know more about God. This Godly desires placed in her heart made her more receptive to my
invitation during Women to women gatherings happening monthly and even joined her own Monday
Dgroup online. Her sharing of personal learnings and her growing willingness to apply it in her life
encourages me that God loves us and He is actively listening to our prayers and that someday my family
will have the desire and determination to follow and serve the Lord Jesus in Spirit and in truth along with
the family of Christ.
At the start of the year, we are challenged to finish the whole Bible. Were you able to do it?
o YES
o If NOT, up to what book? __Old testament: Psalms ; New Testament: Colosians
Share the things that you’ve learned from your Bible Reading on the space below.

a. What is the best thing that you experienced while reading the Bible? What are the things God has
been teaching you while reading through it?
God truly is a relational God who wants constant communication with His children. He wants to guide us
and impart the knowledge of His will and Wisdom in Christ Jesus through His Word, so we can clearly
discern His good and perfect will for us and walk on it by faith, moment by moment. He only intends what
is good for us, so He provides His word to correct and rebuke us to better prepare us for every good work
for the glory of His name. When I do not sit with Him in prayer and studying His word, doubts
immediately come in and I walk like a blind woman walking in darkness. There’s no clear direction, felt
helpless and I was like laboring only in vain.
Spending quality and unhurried time with our Heavenly Father, however, will give us the blessing of
peace, certainty, assurance, and clarity towards God’s direction. The voice of the Holy Spirit becomes
clearer and we have the confidence that we are walking in union with the Lord moment by moment. My
prayer is to have a growing hunger and thirst to spend quality time with our dear Lord Jesus Christ day by
day, grow in the knowledge of Him(His character and will), and eventually, grow in love and obedience, in
Christlikeness, so I can become an effective and faithful witness to His name.
b. What are the difficulties you encountered when you were reading through the whole Bible? How
did you overcome them?
Reading the Bible is not dependent on human comprehension, knowledge or interpretation. We really have
to know and understand its proper context to receive the pure meaning or revelation of the message that is
aligned to the heart and mind of God Himself that are applicable to our present and personal life situation.
Honestly, I find it difficult to understand the proper context and I really have to rely on google search to
gain better understanding. Thank God that a Godly and wise woman recommended me to buy a study
Bible where context interpretations are available on footnotes which really help me read the Bible more
comprehensively. There is a reminder, however, not to be fully dependent on footnote interpretations but
to still always ask the Holy Spirit’s ultimate guidance, who is able to intepret the word of God more
accurately according to our needs and lead us into all truth that we need to know to stay pure, holy and in
alignment with His will.

ONE OF THE SIGNIFICANT LEARNING APPLICATIONS I HAD DURING GLC 2 TRAINING WAS
WHEN THE LORD IMPRESSED IN MY HEART TO GUIDE AND DISCIPLE MY NEPHEW AND NIECE
WHO AT THAT TIME WERE BOTH GETTING ADDICTED TO CELLPHONES AND WERE NOT
GUIDED WELL BY GOD’S WORD. I STARTED BUILDING RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM BY
SPENDING MORE TIME WITH THEM AND BOUGHT BADMINTON SET SO THEY CAN PLAY
OUTDOOR GAMES WITH ME AND LESSEN THEIR TIME ON THEIR PHONES. BY GOD’S GRACE
AND WISDOM, HE HELPED ME MODEL AND TEACH THEM HOW TO PRAY AND TELL BIBLE
